What I am digging today….. Dillon’s grocery store and the ladies standing out by the heat of their huge cooker in 90+ degree weather. They cooked the main course of my meal for me the other day. On the menu was BBQ pork sandwiches. This allowed me to take an eager Kaidence to the local water park and get a break from cooking.
My cook for the day prepares my request of meat for 22 sandwiches. When you get take-out people are often shocked when your order is as vast as ours was. They didn’t bat an eyelash at my request. Maybe some other harvest cooks were taking advantage of this deal too?!

Dillons has always done anything we needed. they are a great store. I worked in the one here at Winfield for a year and it was a great job. I found that what ever the customer wanted they did everything possible to get. There were a couple things in the produce department that we could not get ,but the manager got an alterative and the customer was satisfied,. We have a Dillons in Winfield and one 15 miles south in Arkansas city.
Wind is really blowing today.about 20 mph. Saw a spray plane east of us an hour ago. he may not be able to do much. sharon
